Desserts: Apple Tart Pie
Hello and good to all of you. Yesterday night, I had made my small tart pie with apple filling. The difficult part to make this was baking. From the online's recipe, the baking's temperature is not accurate with my home oven. So, I failed for my first baking cause all were charred. Thus, please adjust your oven's temperature.
Apple Tart Pie
Tool: Tart models, round model
Ingredients:
Pastry
1/2 cup of butter
1/4 cup of sugar
1 egg
1 yolk
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
Fillings:
2 Apple
1/2 tbsp Cinnamon
Decoration:
Egg white
Sugar
Method:
Pastry part:
Beat together butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add vanilla and eggs, beat to combine and set aside.
Whisk together flour and salt.
Then, slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture and beat until well combined.
Form dough into a ball and wrap in wax paper.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Fillings part:
Cut 1 apple into pieces and another apple into small dices.
Mix them with cinnamon.
Apple tart pie part:
Type 1:
Roll out the dough and cut dough with round model.
Place the round dough in the tart tin and trim edges around until flush.
Prick bottom of tart with a fork.
Place tart tin in the freezer for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, fill the apple dices into a tart and cover it with decorations as above shown.
Brush edges with egg white and sprinkles it with sugar.
Type 2:
Cut the flattened dough into square shapes and prick with a fork.
Place two pieces of apple slices on it.
Brush edges with egg white and sprinkles it with sugar.
Type 3:
Cut the flattened dough into square shapes and prick with a fork.
Place apple dices on it and cover with different decorations as above shown.
Brush edges with egg white and sprinkles it with sugar.
Baking Part:
Bake them for 10 - 25 minutes with 180 Celcius until them golden brown.
Serve it after cooling down to room temperature.
